Electric love grew out of a need for disability families to connect outside of hospital walls and therapy clinics. We may be facing a difficult parenthood journey but we still want to share adventures and support each other in fun creative ways.
In 2023 a small group of us moms who met online and whose children suffer with rare and severe forms of epilepsy, decided we wanted to meet up and do something invigorating together! Our idea of spending a weekend adventuring and healing from shared trauma ended up appealing to a lot of moms in similar situations. We quickly grew from 12 to 37 and settled on Zion National Park as our spirit quest destination. In 2024 we added 20+ more moms and a rollicking river float to our restorative journey.
We’ve discovered that matching the intensity of our daily lives with an exciting adventure that offers the chance to challenge ourselves within a supportive group, is exactly the transformative treatment we all need.
